VOLUNTEERS WEEK 2009
The VOLUNTEER CENTRE launches the start of it's celebrations for VOLUNTEERS WEEK 2009 at the QUICKCHECK ROADSHOW in the South West College in Dungannon on Thursday 07th May. WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?
The centre will be conducting a review of the services and facilities that are offered to community and voluntary sector groups. We are aware that there are many programmes and initiatives out there but just how useful or beneficial are they to you? We hope with your help to find out!
EVENTS/TRAINING
Our new training calendar for the first 6 months of the year will be available on the 15th April. We have events being hosted/funded/managed by the volunteer centre and the Good Morning Neighbour project. There are currently 6 seperate training courses available to volunteers and staff from registered organisations. Please visit these pages for more details.
DISPOSAL of ASSETS and UNUSED/REDUNDANT EQUIPMENT
The volunteer centre has some ICT equipment and office furniture it will be disposing of before the summer. Most of this will be free with a few items for sale. For further details contact the centres coordinator at either Armagh or Dungannon offices.
